What Happens Next?
Getting started is simple.
Step 1: Register your child’s interest
Complete the short form on this page and tell us your child’s age. This will help direct you to the correct age-specific class.
Step 2: Chose your preferred training day and start date
We will let you know which class spaces are currently available.
Step 3: Your child attends a trial lesson
Your child completes a complimentary trial class before you officially enrol them.
Step 4: Your child enrols with us, and starts training
They will join a suitable class, receive their uniform and licence, and begin their Taekwon-Do journey.
Step 5: August and September are FREE
Once enrolled in July, your child receives August and September training at no extra cost as part of this special offer.

Frequently asked questions:
Does my child need any experience?
No. This offer is for new starters. Beginners are very welcome and will be guided step by step.
What should my child wear for their first class?
Comfortable clothing such as tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt is ideal. Children train barefoot. Once enrolled, they will receive their free Taekwon-Do uniform and belt.
Is this suitable for shy children?
Yes. Many children start martial arts feeling shy or unsure. Our classes help children build confidence gradually in a supportive environment.
Is Taekwon-Do safe for young children?
Yes. Classes are age-appropriate, structured and carefully supervised. Children are taught control, respect and safe training habits from the beginning.
What age groups do you currently have spaces for?
We currently have limited spaces for 4 & 5 year olds, 6 & 7 year olds, and 8 years+.
What is included in the July offer?
New students joining in July receive August and September free, plus a free Taekwon-Do uniform and free annual licence. This has a real value of £295!
When and how do I pay?
Firstly your child will be offered a FREE trial session, with no obligation to continue if Taekwon-Do is not right for them, or it is simply not the right time for them.
Secondly, after the free trial, and you have made the choice to enrol your child with us, you will be eligible for our special summer offer. The Enrolment fee is £165. This will include your Childs official ITF Taekwon-Do uniform (worth £70) their annual licence and ITF membership (worth £60) and x3 months worth of tuition, based on a fee of £55 per month.
Thirdly, we will provide you with a direct debit form, and a choice to either (a) pay for the special offer in one go or (b) the option to pay the enrolment over three months at £55 per month (3x £55 = £165.00). This way it is simple for you to continue from October by continuing with the £55 monthly fee! We do not use binding contracts, and operate a simple 30 days notice cancellation policy.

UTKD Shrewsbury classes are held at the London Road Sports Centre, SY2 6PR.
